Robert is a freelance designer and digital creative director based in New York City. He works with growing companies in the US and abroad on web design, UX/UI, brand identity & strategy, and the strategy behind them.

Mostly growing companies that are post-product and post-traction, and are looking to strengthen their brand and digital presence. Industries vary, but the common thread is companies where design quality starts to matter for trust, conversion, or hiring.

Most projects fall between 4 and 8 weeks. Smaller scope like a landing page or an interface refresh sits at the shorter end. A full brand and website together sits at the longer end. Engagements are scoped per project, not per hour.

I operate independently under my own name. For projects requiring Brand 360, development, or motion work outside my expertise, I collaborate with trusted partners I have worked with previously. The client always communicates through a single point of contact—me.

New York, New York. Operating within the EST time zone, aligning conveniently with both European Union and US West Coast business hours. All work is conducted remotely and asynchronously by default, with scheduled calls arranged as necessary. Communication is primarily in English.

Strategy first, then design. Each project begins with a clear understanding of the company’s objectives, target audience, and current shortcomings. Design is a subsequent step, not preceding the strategy. Every phase concludes with a tangible deliverable, such as a project brief, prototype, or live site, rather than a presentation slide.

Both brand and website are most effective when designed together, as they reinforce a unified story. However, if only one is needed, that’s perfectly okay. Many clients come with an existing brand and need the website to align with it, or the other way around.
